RECENT ROMANIAN TERMINOLOGY BETWEEN MEDICALIZATION, TECHNICIZATION, AND GLOBALIZATION
(Abstract)
Our analysis aims to capture the mechanisms through which certain domains of experience become privileged in public discourse and, implicitly, in the vocabulary of the language. The selected terms are not chosen solely for their formal novelty, but also for their capacity to function as indicators of broader social transformations: the intensification of medical discourse, the acceleration of digitalization, the globalization of consumption practices, and the institutionalization of environmental concerns.
