ROMANIAN ONLINE DIALECTAL ATLAS ‒ VISION AND LEGACY OF PROFESSOR DORIN URIȚESCU
(Abstract)
RODA II is a customised program for capturing, storing, analysing and visualising the data of NALR ‒ Crișana. It performs phonological, morpho-phonological, morphological and lexical analyses based on the raw data of the dialectal atlas and of metadata (a set of linguistic descriptions and explanations of the data). It uses complex search methods and has various possibilities of displaying the results according to the nature of the particular studied aspect. It is a modern, open and flexible tool of linguistic research envisioned by professor Dorin Urițescu. It can be easily and creatively developed in the future and modelled by different similar research projects.
